Cult of Personality
'I've seen this all before'

Ron Peacock
Wooster, OH (PN)

Lenin style Obama portrait - Pueblo, Colorado Personally, I am deeply disturbed by the cult of personality surrounding President Barack Hussein Obama, the historical similarities to past infamous leaders and his dictatorial rhetoric.

Let me list a few observations:

There are the mindless, fawning, goose-stepping, sycophant followers of Obama

His use of a fascist Mussolini style stage at Invesco Field in Denver

The Vladimir Lenin type portraits of Obama hung in Pueblo, Colorado

The Colorado Springs speech assertion that: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." (can you say KGB. or SS)

The Karl Marx mentality of 'from each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need' (think Joe the Plumber)

The Gestapo-like Missouri 'truth squads'

The Portland, Oregon comments which could have come from the mouth of Chairman Mao "We can't drive our SUVs and, you know, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on, you know, 72 degrees at all times "

The wearing of Obama neck scarves reminiscent of the Khmer Rouge

His twenty year association with the Trinity United Church of Christ and its hateful and racially divisive 'Black Liberation Theology'

and so it goes on and on.

But, all this came together when I first watched the Obama 'Sing for Change' video.

I've seen this before, I've heard this before and I willingly stood in defense of an allied nation opposing such palpable propaganda and menace. This is the same indoctrinating trash that we intercepted from North Korea, radio Pyongyang and the 'Great Leader' himself, Kim Il Sung, during my service on the Korean peninsula.

I took an oath to 'defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic ' never believing that one day my country would be on the brink of becoming an Orwellian state and that its people would willingly anoint an unknown, unvetted, inexperienced community organizer and Chicago politician as their demigod. The fact is, much of what I safeguarded against, 30 years ago, has now become the framework of our ailing nation.

America, this is your wakeup call; make the best of it.

I did my part and you pissed it away, now it's your turn.

A Plea to Massachusetts
'4th Congressional District'
Barney Frank picking a pocket or making a pickupFor the sake of our future prosperity and in the name of justice I beseech thee o citizens of my native birthplace - It is imperative that you remove Barney Frank from office by any means possible.

This lecherous, lisping, liberal is one of the grand architects of the financial crisis we now face. Amongst some other unmentionable stains, Mr. Frank is a stain upon the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a deviant of humanity and a villain of the highest order. Mr. Frank not only refuses to accept the responsibility that is his rightful due, he continues to compound the problem by directing bailout funds to poorly run banks on the sole criteria race.

Barney must go and he must go now. But please, shed no tears for Barney; he will live well. If worse comes to worse, in this uncertain economy facilitated by Barney and friends, he can always fall back on a familiar vocation that is more suited to his miscreant lifestyle - running a gay prostitution ring out of his apartment.

Just a Thought
After less than two years of control, the Democratic congress has brought the United States to the brink of collapse. Now that they also control the executive branch, dark days are ahead.

"Scientists have an independent obligation to respect and present the truth as they see it," Al Gore sensibly asserts in his film "An Inconvenient Truth". With that outlook in mind, what do world climate experts actually think about the science of his movie?
