'Do as I say, not as I do':
So, we can't "keep our homes on, you know, 72 degrees at
all times …" but after being asked why Obama was photographed
in the Oval Office without his suit jacket, David Axelrod explained
the President hates the cold and had cranked up the thermostat.
Axelrod added, "He's from Hawaii, O.K.? He likes it warm.
You could grow orchids in there." First off, Obama had been
living in Chicago (not known for its tropical climate)
since 1991 and hasn't lived in Hawaii since 1979. After also
living in New York and Boston, I am more than sure Obama has
acclimated. Personally, I know people who need to be
warm but can't afford the cost (like disabled veterans, not
the welfare leeches that helped elect you). Here is a suggestion
Mr. President, turn down the thermostat and put on a warm hoodie. |

'Let them eat cake': "We
can't ... , you know, eat as much as we want ..." As
record American jobs are lost, millions of our comrades face
the loss of their homes, children of the downtrodden proletariat
go to bed cold and hungry and the overburdened bourgeoisie struggle
to put bread and baloney on the tables of their suffering families,
the new Whitehouse aristocracy (the Obama's) throw a
vodka drenched cocktail party complete with $100-150 per pound
Wagyu beef. Mr. President, beware the path you tread and don't
loose your head - lest you find yourself in the position of
Louis (and I don't mean your friend Louis Farrakhan).

"A nation of sheep will beget a government
of wolves--" Edward R. Murrow
Here are a few thoughts:
After a botched oath, a less than inspiring speech and a racist,
hateful benediction, Barack Hussein Obama has taken the reins
of the executive office and now calls 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue home.
Unlike his illegal-alien aunt, Zeituni
Onyango, President Obama's public housing is of the first order,
though one may argue, since he has never produced a valid birth
certificate, that he is also occupying public housing illegally.
In any event, he was the choice of an ill-informed American public;
they will get what George Soros paid for!
In the wake of the presidential inauguration ceremonies, the Washington
Mall resembled an Illinois trash dump, if not select parts of the
city of Chicago (more specifically the areas Obama represented
as an Illinois legislator and an ACORN
activist). So much for the "green inauguration". As always with
liberalism, the followers are quick to preach and just as quick
to ignore their own specious dribble. It may come to pass that this
trashing of Washington will be symbolic of our country after four
years of an Obamamessiah administration.
I would also point out to our liberally challenged readers, that
the "carbon footprint" of this event quite possibly surpassed
that of the eruption of Mount St. Helens. The plethora of private
jets, the posh limousines, the gas guzzling SUV's, the lavish tour
buses, the energy used to power the 4000 square foot hotel penthouses
and everything else associated with this 160+ million dollar disgusting
display of ostentatious overindulgence, leaves me breathless (well,
at least that reduces my "carbon footprint"). What a bunch of
hypocrites liberals are and, in my long experience, have always
been.
Meet the new boss America - a possible Marxist-Socialist, a 20 year
member of the xenophobic church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a friend
of domestic terrorists (Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn),
comrade of Rashid Ismail Khalidi and other anti-semites, associate
of the crooked criminal sleazeball Tony Rezko, product of the corrupt
Chicago political machine and messiah to the left wing whack-jobs
of this nation. Apparently, all that is needed is an appealing smile,
some flowery words and a few bumper sticker slogans and a liberal
will buy into anything … come to think of it, that holds true for
most of the American sheeple
these days. Obama may not be the same as the old boss, but … you
all got fooled again!
Finally, keep this in mind for the next four years:
"The cheese is always free in
the middle of the mouse trap."

An ongoing series outlining the loss of American liberties and the
dismantling of our Constitution. ~ The Editor
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent;
it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful
master." - George Washington -->
Part 2 of this series will be published in our next edition
providing the Constitution
is still in effect and the our liberties have not been abolished.
Part 1 can be read here.
Here are a few sites where you can take quizzes on civics or the
Constitution. I recommend checking out these sites so you will at
least be familiar with what you have lost once the socialist-nanny
state takes it away.

Picture a cute, fuzzy polar
bear cub perilously clinging to a swiftly melting chunk of sea
ice; desperate to maintain his/her eroding foothold and you have
a visual metaphor of today's global warming alarmists. The debate
is not over and there is no overwhelming consensus in the science
community; even if that were the case, consensus
is not a scientific fact.
Indeed, the moniker 'Global Warming' has given way to 'Climate Change'
as climate alarmist scramble to deal with increasingly cooler global
temperatures, the revelations of data
misrepresentation from NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies,
catastrophically flawed global warming models that conveniently
exclude solar activity and misrepresent atmospheric water vapor
(earth's primary greenhouse gas) and that in every case;
ice-core data shows that a rise in earth's temperature precedes
the rise in atmospheric carbon dioxide.
The Pavo News does not employ any climatologist nor do we claim
to have the answers, but we do recognize deception,
deliberate
fabrications and (in
the case of Al Gore) unadulterated
lies for the sake of personal
gain and public
acclaim.

November 7, 2008
By Dick Armey
The liberal pundits who embraced the candidacy of Barack Obama are
also eager to issue a death certificate for free market capitalism.
They're wrong, and they remind me of what the great Willie Nelson
once said: "I'm ragged but I'm right."
To be sure, the American people have handed power over to the Democrats.
But today there is a categorical difference between what Republicans
stand for and the principles of individual freedom. Parties are
all about getting people elected to political office; and the practice
of politics too often takes the form of professional juvenile delinquency:
short-sighted and self-centered.
